The Floor Whisperer Twin Cities began in 2020 as a full-service floor covering company. We specialize in installing wood floors, vinyl floors, luxury vinyl planking, and so much more. Our team boasts 40 years of experience with installing floor coverings. While our company name and location are new, our team is far from the beginner level. It's our goal to exceed your expectations with our fantastic service and craftsmanship. Floor installations are complicated, which is why you need experienced professionals like us. Tim Rea
Tim Rea has been putting down floors for close to forty years. For Tim, flooring is like a lot of careers; you just fall into them. He started selling floor coverings in Nebraska when he was fresh out of college, and moved to Woodbury in 1988. Tim has seen every aspect of the business, from distributing, mill representative, manager, and President/owner of flooring stores-no wonder they call him The Floor Whisperer!
Two years ago Tim decided to retire. As an empty nester, he could enjoy playing bass in the band again, going to the cabin, and spending more time with his 7 children and 13 grandchildren (with number 14 on the way!). That didn’t last long for The Floor Whisperer-the whispers kept coming, retirement was boring, and the Pandemic sealed the deal.
Tim is excited to be back helping his community find the floor covering that fits what they need-no gimmicks about ‘free installation’ and total transparency from start to finish.
